I’m taking part in the very first Cussing Caker and Friends live, over in The Cussing Caker group, with Aimee Ford Ltd and Danielle's Sweet Treats.

I’m a little late with my birthday cake! This year, I’ve been so busy, that I didn’t get to make myself a birthday cake last week. 😱But it’s ok, I’ve had this TikTok trend stuck in my head for at least two days 😂🦎🦎🦎🦎🦎🦎🦎

Last night was my son’s year 6 leavers party, at Ruislip Cricket Club, and of course, I supplied the cake. 🥰

What a night it was! The kids had a fantastic time, the adults were….merry…. 👀, and it was the best send off for all the children.

A huge thank you to Dawn Butler - Dinkydoodle for the amazing kits. Saved me sooooo much time making my own frames!
The cakes were an absolute hit, and I don’t think there was a scrap of it left behind!
And yes, the bag cake is wearable! Modelled by Logan.

The ‘I’m a celeb’ cake is based on their school production, and I loved making all the details.
Some of which were made on a TikTok live.

The 5 cake is covered with pictures of their teachers, including the head teacher stealing chips from the kitchen!!! 😂

Thank you to all the parents, organisers, helpers and hosts, who all pitched in to make this night memorable. You’re all stars!!!

Good luck to all the new year 7 pupils! Go out there and smash it, kids!

Not my usual post, but I attended the Hillingdon Chamber of Commerce annual summer party last week, and this year, the theme was silly hats! With a prize for the best hat.

I was originally going to just stick a cake on my head, but after one attempt, I realised that wasn’t going to happen 😂
Instead, I bought a plain top hat, and piped it with silicone, for this vintage piped style.
Painted with acrylic paints, and finished with a real candle!
I didn’t win the prize, but I won a bottle in the raffle so I was very happy 😂

Not just a cake maker!
I’ve just delivered these afternoon tea treats to the staff to Newnham infant and Junior Schools.
Those lucky folks have:
Passion fruit pavlovas
Mini fresh cream Victoria sponges
Vegan chocolate mousse pots
Vegan mango pots
Blueberry eclairs
Lemon and white chocolate tarts
Salted caramel and milk chocolate tarts

It’s nice to go back to pastry every now and again, and take a break from cakes.

I may or may not have made extra of everything to keep for myself 😂

I hope the staff have a wonderful lunch, and thank you for all you do for the children 🥰

Super mega happy 7th birthday to Jacob!!!!
I hope you had a fantastic football party at Goals Ruislip!
He had this 8 inch chocolate Minecraft cake, filled with oreo buttercream and milk chocolate spread yesterday.

Was I singing lava chicken the whole time I was making this? Maybe, but you have no proof!!!
