A special and pivotal night at Versa Studios Manchester

We were proud to host Chief Executive Carolyn McCall and leaders from across television, production and local government - including , , Nicola Shindler, Cameron Roach and Heidi Dawson - for a high-level roundtable exploring the future of the North West’s screen industry.

This region has always been a creative powerhouse and seeing so many influential voices come together under our roof to champion its next chapter was inspiring.

The evening closed with a screening of Lazarus from Quay Street Productions, now on Prime Video.

A British TV icon returns to where it all began.

It was a real privilege to welcome the brilliant (Cold Feet, The Fast Show, Coronation Street) back to our Manchester studios; formerly Granada Studios to reflect on the legacy of one of the UK’s most iconic TV sites.

Now under VERSA’s care, this legendary space is home to modern productions like Dragons’ Den and Morning Live, continuing its incredible story.

For John, it was more than a visit, it was a homecoming.
