Tried one of London’s newest Indian spots and I’m still thinking about it 👀✨

We visited Masakali — a modern Indian fine dining restaurant that blends tradition with a more elevated, elegant vibe.

What we ordered:• Chicken lababdar – creamy, rich and comforting• Lamb rara – bold, flavourful and done so well• Gongura wings – tangy with the perfect kick• Jeera rice & fresh naan (essential)• Gulab jamun churros & rasmalai cake to finish

Honestly? The flavours felt authentic but refined, and the atmosphere makes it ideal for date night or celebrations.

The Japanese spot that works for any plan 🍣✨

London has no shortage of sushi spots, but this one works whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or sitting down for dinner. Honestly, being a spot that specialises in sushi, I wish we’d tried more rolls but…

We kept it classic:🍣 Salmon avocado roll — fresh and clean🍗 Chicken katsu — crispy and comforting🍜 Chicken udon — warming and generous

Sometimes the classics are classics for a reason. They also have a few unique twists — we tried the filo-wrapped sticky rice and mango for dessert. Not my favourite spin on it, but still a fun experiment.

Places like this make it easy to mix reliability with a little adventure — the kind of spot you’ll end up coming back to without thinking twice. This is 🍣

Soho Eats You Need to Try:

If you love bold, fresh flavors, Tigermilk should be on your list. We started with tacos and a tostada — crunchy, fresh, and packed with flavor. The steak with chimichurri was tender, perfectly seasoned, and full of depth. But the real showstopper? The quesadilla — smoky, cheesy, and melt-in-your-mouth perfection.

Pro-tip: start with the starters and come hungry to get the full flavor journey. Every dish delivers, but that quesadilla will have you coming back for more. Perfect for anyone hunting for bold flavors and killer comfort food in Soho.

The Korean crab that will ruin all other crabs for you 🦀

I never thought I could eat raw crab, but this was a total game changer. If you’re near Big Ben, this Korean spot is a must-visit for bold, authentic flavors. When I think of my go-to dishes, I would go for the classic comfort dishes, including the bibimbap and fried chicken which were done so well..

But the star for me was the raw yangnyeom crab- it was so addictive, and I loved the hands on experience of getting your hands in there and squeezing out the meat yourself!

If you’re looking for bold, authentic korean flavors in london, this place should be on your list.

Keeping protein simple… CURRENTLY ON OFFER 🥤‼️

These Protein Milkshakes surprised me with how smooth and chocolatey they are — they genuinely taste like a regular milkshake, without that artificial aftertaste.

Each bottle has 20g of protein, is made with real ingredients, and contains no artificial sweeteners, which makes them easy to slot into everyday life without overthinking it.

If you’re shopping in Tesco, they’re currently on offer for £1.50 (selected stores, offer valid: 07.01.26 - 27.01.26), which makes trying them a no-brainer!

One of those finds that’s worth knowing about ✨

Apparently this place is a direct line to la dolce vita… and honestly, I get it 🍕🍸

From the ’nduja and Supernova pizzas with that perfectly charred, crispy crust (plus a burrata centre I’m very partial to), to the truffle arancini and meatballs, everything hit the spot.
Washed down with frozen margaritas and finished with a profiterole that was rich, indulgent, and the perfect sweet ending, this meal absolutely delivered.

If you’re looking for a fun, lively spot for pizza, drinks, and a guaranteed good time — .roma is one to add to your list.

Which pizza are you ordering first? 👀🍕

The truffle seared sea bass kaburi and red dragon kaburi were indulgent, rich, and packed with flavour, while the seared sea bass nigiri completely swept me off my feet. And the salmon crunch roll? A delicious classic done perfectly.

If you’re looking for a spot where fresh, made-to-order sushi meets comforting hot dishes, this is it. I’ll definitely be back to try more! Which dish would you try first? 👀🍱
