You have two options with love. You let it lead the way, or you lock it up.

If you think you can make it disappear, you're deluding yourself. Be honest. You're still in love with every person you've ever been in love with.

We lock love up for a reason. And that reason is usually because we are looking for perfection. If we are only allowed to be with one person, they have to be perfect for us. And we will intellectualise and analyse every flaw comparing them to other prospects.

Love shouldn't be exclusive. I will happily tell my friends I love them. And when it comes with attraction and a mysterious feeling of rightness, I am no longer going to let arbitrary rules or my fear of rejection get in the way. I'm letting love lead me.

Words & Medication

The solution to all of life's problems.

Unfortunately it didn't work for me personally. Nor my sister. Nor any number of people I've met stuck in the UK's mental health system.

I'd almost be tempted to say medication makes things worse. But I guess that doesn't really matter, because you can just treat the problems it causes with more medication. Now how to fix the problems 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 medication causes... 🤔
