Como players Assane Diao, Lucas Da Cunha, Jacobo Ramón, Yan Couto and Jesús Rodríguez took snaps during the club’s pre-season trip to England - documenting the journey from the inside.

Cesc Fàbregas’ Como are in the UK for training and fixtures against his former club, Arsenal and then against Liverpool at Anfield, while also taking the opportunity to show off their classy new adidas 2026/27 away kit.

Some football stories go far beyond the game.

Our latest Lower Block Edition, Coxa Analógico: Football, Devotion & Legacy, sees documentary photographer Gabriel Wisniewski turn his analogue cameras towards the people, rituals and emotion that surround Coritiba Foot Ball Club. Shot entirely on 35mm film between 2022–26, it captures football not as spectacle, but as lived experience.

The project is also a personal one. Gabriel's photographs are made in memory of his late younger brother, with whom he shared countless days following Coritiba. Those experiences continue to shape both his connection to the club and his approach to photography.

At Lower Block, these are the stories we're drawn to. Football is about far more than the match itself. It's family, identity, community and the memories that stay with us forever. Wherever you find the game, those lived experiences are what make football so special.
