As summer draws to a close, we reflect on a busy season at Triglyph Books, working across both forthcoming and published titles.

June and July brought a series of memorable occasions for our May publication ‘King Charles III: 40 Years of Architecture’, with our friends at The New Criterion, Hatchards, The Ned, and the Georgian Group — thank you all, it is always a pleasure.

Later in July, we spent a day at Charleston in preparation for our forthcoming Triglyph People title, ‘Roger Fry: Bloomsbury and the Invention of Modern Art’.

A lively summer indeed, and now we look ahead to an equally exciting autumn.

Triglyph is so saddened to hear of the death of Leon Krier, one of their heroes. Last year Clive was honoured to interview him about Poundbury and other works for our book King Charles III: 40 Years of Architecture. Krier’s example showed that it is still possible to create cities fit for humans to live in. Leon Krier, in trademark scarf, with the Prince and the architect John Thompson. The occasion was the first public consultation on the proposed development of Poundbury Farm which took place on a sunny June day in 1989. Image courtesy: HTA Design LLP
