We appreciate everyone that came along to meet Lisa Downs from Life After Movies yesterday and those that stayed to watch the great screening of Life After The NeverEnding Story. They were lucky enough to see a sneak peak of the upcoming Life After The Goonies and hear some great insight into how Lisa and her team put these awesome documentaries together.

On Sunday 3rd August in conjunction with koalabairpromotions we'll be visited by LISA DOWNS - Filmmaker, Director & Producer of the wonderful Life After Movies series of Documentaries - multi award winning production company specialising in celebrating the greatest decades of all time from the 70s, 90s, and of course the 1980s.

In 2019 they released the first of the series, LIFE AFTER FLASH (celebrating the 1980 classic Flash Gordon), followed by LIFE AFTER THE NAVIGATOR in 2020 (Flight of the Navigator), then most recently in 2024, LIFE AFTER THE NEVERENDING STORY.

Currently in production are LIFE AFTER GOODFELLAS, LIFE AFTER GREASE and LIFE AFTER THE GOONIES.

Lisa will be at the shop all afternoon for a Meet and Greet then in the evening will be presenting a screening of LIFE AFTER THE NEVERENDING STORY in our Cinema Room along with a sneak peak at LIFE AFTER THE GOONIES followed by a Q&A.

Our OG Life After buddy Bob is now an AWARD WINNING FILMMAKER thanks to the sold out premiere of his doc Making Megaforce, which went on to win Best of Fest!

It's a great documentary, so do check this double feature out July 6th at the Frida Cinema 🥰

WE JUST HIT OUR TARGET! Thank you to all who have backed so far. TRULY! It means the world and what a way to end this 3 week filming trip :)

More amazingly, there is still 10 more days of the campaign, and so we can just keep going and going!
