The Nun II (2023)
The Nun II continues the story of Sister Irene (Taissa Farmiga) as she confronts the malevolent force of Valak, the demon nun, who first appeared in The Conjuring 2.
The movie is set in 1956, a few years after the events of the first The Nun movie. The story begins with a series of strange and violent deaths happening in France. These deaths are linked to the mysterious appearance of Valak, the demon that takes the form of the terrifying nun. A priest named Father Thomas (played by Jonas Bloquet), who was involved with the events in the first film, is murdered by the entity in a brutal sequence that sets the stage for the film's conflict.
Sister Irene, having already faced Valak before, is called upon to investigate the supernatural happenings. She teams up with a young novice named Sister Debra (played by Storm Reid) in an attempt to unravel the mystery and stop Valak from wreaking more havoc.
