A week in the Côte d’Azur with the people I love most was the perfect end to summer 26 ☀️ my parents booked an villa in Grasse for their 40th anniversary (last time we all did a trip together was for their 30th in Cuba!) We chose this place for its it stunning sweeping grounds that were packed full of games and little nooks to play , relax and read, sip your w**e.🍷

Grasse is the perfect location for reaching all the small areas of interest like Mougins - a medieval circular artist village and home to a 29 euro Michelangelo star lunch at L’Amandier de Mougins. There’s plenty of w**e tastings at vineyards (we skipped them for an olive oil tasting). Cannes and Antibes are 40/45 mins drive for beaches bar and a little more glamour and 45 mins from Nice airport (holla if you want the Airbnb link 👋)

As a beauty geek the highlight for me was the perfume making workshop at Parfums Molinard (89€) - the quality of experience and ingredients was incredible. I could have stayed in the workshop tinkering for hours!

I dug out my FUJIFILM UK and Ireland x100v for the trip having not touched it in years, brushed up on a quick YT tutorial. It was the perfect backdrop to capture some memories without having my phone in my hand. It really is a stunning camera and I’m glad I hung on to it to capture these core memz 🤗

Sorry autumn but I’m a summer gal through and through. One of the best days out this summer the *regional* rodeo day. If you find yourself down Chichester // Boseham way then crate_cafe is a good time ✌🏻 we didn’t eat there but they had deep dish Chicago style pizzas and the picpoul rosé I’d 10/10 recommend.
If you’re after a more Boujie gastro moment Crown and Anchor in Chichester do incredible seafood platters > swipe to see what we ate 🤤

Ps. Why am I so bad at line dancing 🤪

🥂 to summer memories like these

The set up was so fun, they’d made such an effort

Gals just wanna line dance and drink rosé

RIP to my FAV bag this summer by Free People Europe that got destroyed after falling down and smashing a pot of tomato soup all over myself 🪦

😘

It looks so simple but my brain is not cut out for this sh*t 😅

The biggest babe Becky Shepherd, besties since uni 👯‍♀️

😈🤟🏼

Lowering the tone with some post line dancing carpark rosé

Peak womanhood is singing Shania Twain with 100% confidence but only knowing 80% of the words.

Hugo spritz has truly been my cocktail of choice this summer. So refreshing and easy to make at home too 🍃

I INHALED THIS PLATTER All bbq’d in front of us on a big green egg barbecue we had crispy potato and to sides and some padron peppers 👌

Sunset hits different by the seaside 🌅🥹

In my buckle bunny era 🤠 xoxo

The ultimate ADHD girl dinner: dirty martini and chicken tenders with a trio of sauces 🤌🏼

I did one of these impromptu cooking “tutorials” three years ago and y’all loved it so here’s another. Still entertaining myself no end during mundane tasks.

Alex was not wrong when he said those that succeed in business move the fastest 😅

about all us insanely creative, deep thinking ND founders who are always in our own freakin’ way? Not that i shudder at the thought of working hard! It’s seems like I have just become so familiar with the experience of burnout and the never ending cycle of running a biz, that freezing in the face of executing - what could be your million dollar idea, or making the changes to really scale - becomes the default.

ICL I have been struggling in my business for the last few years and I’ve tried coaching, masterminds, new systems, time off and YAH I have learnt A LOT. But nothing has been the magic 💊 I was hoping would release me from the shackles of my own perfectionism, self doubt or ability to JUST DO IT ✔️

This is just a frank share because I feel like we don’t see enough of the reality or hard periods that becoming a founder or biz owner can be 🙏

I know it’s a phase because HELL NO this is what my destiny looks like! Some days i feel like I can’t do this anymore and some days i think I’ve just gotta figure out the best way to figure it out without letting years of hard work come crashing down. HAHA 🥲 tell me someone feels this too *cries in picante*

Sick at myself for how much I geeked out over this experience even my horrific foghorn laugh came out in terror 💀

Not my usual content but in the spirit of sharing what deeply fascinates me…I wanna know who else has riden a Waymo / ai car because I feel like this is NOT a common experience!!

I am actually excited / terrified for them to get to London. Saw them practising the other day near borough market. The roads are not as big as in the USA. Good freakin luck

Back yourself, your decisions and what you love every time 🤍

I used to feel ashamed when people laughed at my to-do lists like they were made for 5 year olds.

Like… why am I writing “shower” next to actual work tasks? Am i gunna forget to shower something?

But honestly, I think a lot of ADHD shame comes from trying to make our systems look normal or adopt “proven” textbook methods instead of making them actually work for us.

Babes I don’t need a list that makes me look like a polished CEO.
I need a list that gets me from frozen to functioning.

And if that starts with coffee, shower, open laptop, send one easy email then GORGEOUS - it’s going in.

The carousel explains the Little Rocks / Big Rocks thing properly, but the headline is this:

Stop building your day around the fantasy version of you who wakes up ready to do the hardest thing first.

Build it around the brain you actually have.

SAVE THIS and share it with a neuro 🌶️ friend who needs it.

👀 comment the “ridiculous” thing you have to put on your list or it simply will not happen?

I don’t think I’ve been this excited about anything wellness tech in a long time.

Therapy, acupuncture, breathwork, yoga, less screen time, are all part of my wellness practises. But none of it got me out of the permanent state of fight or flight I’ve been dogged by through most of my 20’s and 30’s.

And if that’s you, first, I feel you and second, nobody is surprised. We live in a world that moves at an insane pace and feeling wired, reactive, exhausted but unable to switch off is not a personality flaw, promise. I just got to a point where I thought, this cannot be the way I’m supposed to exist.

So I went straight for the thing running the whole show. The vagus nerve is basically your body’s rest and digest switch, and vagal tone, how well you can actually access that calm state, is something you can build over time.

I’m currently using Pulsetto, a vagus nerve stimulation device you wear around your neck. I put it on, open the app, pick a programme, get on with my day. I can physically feel my body sighhh when I wear it and am using it 2x daily on a 5-minute programme to help support my body against daily stress and stay in rest and digest longer.
