'84% of purchases are driven by a pre-existing brand bias'.

WPP recently shared their white paper on “How humans decide”
and simplified the purchase journey into two key stages: Priming and Active.

The Priming stage recognises that most people’s behaviours and preferences towards a brand are already shaped before they begin shopping. According to WPP’s database of 1.2 million purchase journeys, a striking 84% of purchases are decided before shopping even begins.

Earlier this year we looked at the 'priming effect' and how OOH advertising has a unique ability to shape brand preference long before the point of purchase.

McDonald's relaunched its iconic Monopoly partnership, showcased across our billboards to spotlight the app. The campaign encouraged customers to order from the Monopoly Menu for a chance to win prizes.

Carling positioned its message in proximity to football stadiums, celebrating its connection to live sport.

As temperatures drop, the NHS made a timely reminder encouraging the public to get their flu vaccination.

Artichoke returned with its fifth season, ‘It’s Not Easy Being Green’, showcased across our digital network. Featuring ‘Grace on Waste’ by artist Muhammad Amdad Hossain which highlights the uneven realities of sustainability, showing that environmental responsibility isn’t equally accessible to everyone.
