Naturally, we had a sitter visiting twice a day to feed the cats. But cats love their routines, and sudden changes can be stressful. Purrcival, Rabbitovitz and Lyle are used to three meals a day, with supper being the main event, while our sitter could only come for breakfast and lunch… so we needed a setup that would make sure supper still happened on time, exactly as expected 😺

We definitely spent more than we planned to, but we ended up with a setup we now know we can rely on if we ever need to leave the cats at home again.

And before anyone comes for us: life happens. It’s not always holidays and parties, and sometimes you have to be away for reasons you can’t predict or plan around. Having a tried-and-tested setup that keeps cats fed, preserves their routine and minimises unnecessary stress is something every cat owner should have in place before an emergency happens - not something to figure out in the middle of one ✌️

Due to ongoing Supplyle Chain Shortages, our next report is expected at the end of the month, and we’ll be moving to monthly Woolificence Reports from now on.

Production may have slowed, but the movement has not.

The Cat Wool Academy remains fully operational, with a new lesson arriving next week so you can begin building your own domestic wool empire while Lyle replenishes national reserves 🤍

Big Wool should not mistake reduced reporting frequency for weakness.
