And maybe that’s what people see first. But that’s not the Naples I know. ❤️🇮🇹

I’ve lived in Italy, and some of my closest friends are from Naples, so for me, this city has always felt a little more personal.

Because Naples is also beautiful. The light coming through Galleria Umberto, the peaceful beauty of the Chiostro di Santa Chiara, the incredible food, the noise, the laughter, the energy…

And then there are the little moments you don’t expect — like an old taxi driver making sure we got home safely, looking after us with the warmth and kindness that makes you feel like family.

Naples is messy, loud, imperfect and sometimes chaotic. But it’s also generous, soulful, beautiful and full of life.

Maybe you don’t fall in love with Naples because it’s perfect. You fall in love with it because it’s real. ❤
