Examining Emeka Ugwuonye’s Allegations Against Queen May
Written By : Awuzie Frankline✍️
Emeka Ugwuonye’s so-called ‘revelation’ about May Edochie is really just an angry outburst presented as facts. Here’s why👇
1. No professionalism: A lawyer should never reveal private talks or case details about a client. Doing so breaks trust and destroys legal ethics. What Emeka is doing is not justice work—it is character assassination.
2. One-sided story: He calls May a liar but says nothing about Yul’s faults. If Yul never wanted the marriage, why did he stay for years until Judy showed up? Blaming May alone is unfair.
3. Double standards: Emeka claimed he took the case to defend women’s rights, but now he attacks May while excusing Yul’s polygamy and public insults. That shows bias, not fairness.
4. No real proof: He keeps saying he has “evidence” but instead of showing court papers, he writes long social media posts. Real evidence belongs in court, not Facebook rants.
5. Insensitive words: Talking about the death of May’s son in such a cold and accusing way is heartless. A decent lawyer should show compassion, not use her pain as a weapon.
6. Contradictions: He says May had no money, yet also claims she took loans, ran a shop, and built a brand. His stories don’t add up.
7. Personal grudge: At the end, it’s clear his anger is because May disagreed with him and moved on. This is no longer about truth, it’s about revenge.
In short: Emeka’s attack says more about his lack of professionalism than about May. By exposing private matters, contradicting himself, and speaking with bitterness, he has reduced himself from a lawyer into a gossip peddler.
