In her artist statement, Ruby shares that her collages “examine contemporary life through the female gaze, subjectively documenting the human experience. Electric colours and surreal compositions are meant to disorientate the audience; they are in control of their meaning and the observer is duty-bound to decode it on their terms.”

In Mia’s feature she shares how her female friends helped her heal from a painful breakup through the power of sisterhood and community.
