Limited Edition LP: Song For My Mother

Unique Sound - Analogue production - Limited edition

This recording was made during Adam Czerwiński April trip to California (2025). Together with Marcin Wądołowski and Darek Oleszkiewicz, they created a slightly different atmosphere than usual.

Less jazzy, more atmospheric, even with elements of “country.” Adam Czerwiński invited two prominent figures from the world of music to participate in the recording: Alan Pasqua and Bob Sheppard. The title track, like the entire album, “Song for My Mother,” is dedicated to my recently deceased mother.

Guided by an artistic and humanitarian mission, Valérie Milot makes the beauty of music resonate with all audiences on he album Nebulae. Acclaimed for reinventing the harp and revealing its unexpected power and colours, Valérie has built a discography of more than 30 recordings and earned prestigious honours, including the Prix d’Europe in 2008 - the first harpist in nearly a century to win this award.

Valérie Milot passionately pursues a career as a harpist and humanitarian entrepreneur, driven by the mission to develop equitable access to music. Her mission: to make music accessible to all and transform it into a tool for reflection, dialogue and solidarity. A recognised soloist, Valérie reveals on stage the infinite possibilities of the harp, boldly exploring its unsuspected sonorities and pushing the boundaries of this millennial instrument. She regularly collaborates with prestigious orchestras (Les Violons du Roy, Orchestre symphonique de Montréal, Orchestre Métropolitain) and internationally renowned conductors such as Yannick Nézet-Séguin and Bernard Labadie.

Her exceptional artistic journey has earned her numerous distinctions, notably the Prix d’Europe 2008 – making her the first harpist in nearly a century to win this prestigious prize. Graduated from the Conservatory “with great distinction” at the end of her master’s studies with Caroline Lizotte, she pursued her studies with Rita Costanzi in New York. Since the beginning of her career, she was named Révélation de l’année Radio-Canada, received several Prix Opus and nominations at the Gala de l’ADISQ.

HAROLD FARBERMAN - THE ALL STAR PERCUSSION ENSEMBLE [2XLPS]

Georges Bizet, Ludwig van Beethoven, Johann Pchelbel, Hector Berlioz: The All Star Percussion Ensemble. The conductor, Harold Farberman, who was also responsible for the arrangements contained in the recording, provides direction resulting in a unified sound and balanced sonic platform for these demanding works.

Comprised of some of the greatest percussionists from the major US symphony orchestras, the ensemble on this recording, produced by the legendary Andrew Kazdin, creates a sound landscape not often heard in the concert hall or on albums.

The conductor, Harold Farberman, who was also responsible for the arrangements contained in the recording, provides direction resulting in a unified sound and balanced sonic platform for these demanding works.

BILL EVANS - SOME OTHER TIME: The Lost Session from the Black Forest - Deluxe Two Tape Edition

The recordings on these tapes constitute the material from a June 20th, 1968, studio session recorded by Hans Georg Brunner-Schwer (HGBS) and Joachim-Ernst Brendt in Germany's Black Forest. This is no ordinary recording. This enthralling Bill Evans session was recorded five days after a famous performance at the 1968 Montreux jazz festival by Evans, bassist Eddie Gomez and drummer Jack DeJohnette. Verve's Montreux live recording won a Grammy, but this studio session has been in the vaults ever since. 2xHD received Positive Feedback's ‘Best Sounding album of the year' award for this album two years in a row.
