Be ready to be blown away when you experience playback of true high-fidelity recording on audiotape – your new album on reel-to-reel audiotape, originally recorded on 26 August 1974 in Spånga church, Sweden. The album Antiphone Blues showcases late Swedish jazz saxophonist Arne Domnérus in duets with organist Gustav Sjökvist, recorded in Spanga Church in Sweden. Domnérus was involved in the 1977 audiophile classic Jazz at the Pawnshop and this album has earned a similar reputation over the years for its high-quality music recordings. Recorded from the original master tapes supplied by Proprius.

Antiphone Blues is a title that requires no introduction. As a largely popular bestseller since its first edition in 1975, this Proprius recording deserves to join the collections of music lovers and audiophiles all over the world, for its extraordinary sound quality and its innovative musical content.

What is a Crystal Disc CD?

A Crystal disc, a Compact Disc using a glass substrate, is made to realise the sound quality which is 'equivalent' to the master sound source. For this purpose, a Crystal Disc is fabricated by Laser Disc technology cultivated over many years using the best-selected materials.

• The use of a glass substrate instead of conventional polycarbonate substrate. As the reflective layer, gold is adopted in exchange for conventional aluminium.
• For pit transcription, a Photo Polymerization process (2P process) using a metal stamper is adopted. This process makes pit transcription highly precise compared with the conventional injection molding process. The technology of 2P process was cultivated by our production of test discs for calibrating industrial optimal pickup heads.
• Surface flatness of the glass substrate is much superior to the conventional CD. The Glass substrate is hardly influenced by the variation of temperature and humidity. Furthermore, the absence of birefringence coming from the optical uniformity of the glass substrate realized a signal with extremely low noise and low jitter.
