Tinga Tinga Tales celebrates 15 Years and its 100th classroom in Kenya! 🎉
Created by Claudia Lloyd, the series, inspired by Tanzanian Tingatinga art, was produced in Nairobi in collaboration with Homeboyz Entertainment.
Tiger Aspect Kids and Family has donated 50% of Tinga Tinga Tales net profits to building classrooms in some of the most impoverished and remote parts of Kenya, helping to improve access to education since the series debuted on CBeebies and Disney Junior in 2010. This will continue as Tinga Tinga Tales captivates audiences worldwide for years to come.
The initiative has also provided 40,000 ‘Tinga Tinga Tales’ books and offered more than 350 Early Childhood Development training kits to teachers through the ‘Read a Book, Give a Book’ scheme.
