Peter Obi's Legal Team, Witnesses Are An Embarrassment - Reno Omokri

"Peter Obi's legal team and their witnesses at the Presidential Election Petition Court are simply an embarrassment. This was a man who was boasting that he had all his evidence and witnesses. And look at the type of witnesses they are producing. A mathematics professor who blamed his inability to prove that Peter Obi won the on lack of time. Another, Lawrence Nwakaeti, got confused in court. Lawyers who make schoolboy errors by blundering their schedule of documents and then asking for more time. This is not looking good for Peter Obi. Not looking good at all!"

HAPPY SUNDAY FOLKS!

Tinubu certificate brouhaha ~ Woye :

You will recall that there was a petition dated Aug 12.1999 about the educational background and age of Asiwaju Tinubu written by Alhaji Jammed Seriki & Dr. Waliu Balogun - smith.

They accused him of lying about his age in his nominating form to INEC.

2: Gani Fawenhinmi went to court to seek for prosecution of Tinubu up to Supreme Court. Supreme Court ruled that Tinubu CANNOT be Prosecuted by the police for alleged certificate forgery. That only Lagos State House of Assembly can investigate him.

3: Then, June 4, 2013 one Dr. Dominic Adegbola asked Federal High Court Justice Saliu Saidu to re - open the suit filed by Gani Fawehinmi in 1999. The suit was to compel IG of Police to commence investigation into alleged forgery. The court dismissed the case . The court said that the applicant went to sleep since 2007 when the “toga of immunity “ could no longer shield Tinubu and suddenly woke up when the matter is statute barred . So as at today , court has exonerated Tinubu of any forgery even after leaving office . So what is the issue now as a result of Supreme Court decision, Lagos State House of Assembly under Speaker Mamora (present Minister of State) opened the probe via a motion moved by Hon. Tajudeen Agoro & a 5 man ad - hoc committee was set up with Hon Omowoare as chairman .

4. The committee sent out letter of invitation to the 2 gentlemen that wrote the petition. Those guys REFUSED to substantiate their petition. The committee even went to the addresses those guys provided and they could not find them . However , Tinubu was invited to answer

5: Tinubu came with Femi Falana who wasn’t Anthony bus stop SAN then . Tinubu admitted to the needless errors being pointed out by the petitioners and that it was Senator Tokunbo Akifuyomi that did the documentation. Then he submitted a copy of SDP Senatorial candidate form dated June 1, 1992 in which he used to contest the 1992 Senatorial election and he won as a Senator representing Lagos West. That form he personally filled . Tinubu attached the certificate of Richard Daley College and Chicago State University.

6: Qualification was B.Sc Accounting. Now, INEC in 1999 committed an error in INEC form CF01 that bore a wrong date of 28th Dec 1999 instead of 28th December, 1998. Commissioner of Oath detected the error.

7: Tinubu could not complete his secondary school because of poverty. He decided to leave for USA to find food. He did a lot of menial jobs & suffered like every young man without a rich parents or uncle or RICH TWITTER boys and girls. After 5 years,he enrolled at Richard Daley college in Chicago. Note, Tinubu did not complete his education in secondary school, therefore the college offered him basic , remedial and academic classes like IJMB in local Nigeria. He passed his remedial courses and he was offered admission to Chicago University. He obtained Bachelor of Science in Business & Administration and his major was in Accounting. He had no scholarship like me that I enjoyed in my undergraduate and post graduate too . He was in Chicago University from August 1977 to June 1979 . He worked with Deloitte Haskins

8. Tinubu was an employee of Mobil oil of Nigeria between Dec 1,1983 when Buhari, Babaginda, Dasuki,David Mark were preparing to overthrow Shehu Shagari & he used to pass though Dodan Barracks not knowing that fate would link him with Buhari later. He was there till May 17, 1992

9: Senator Afinkuyomi appeared with Prof Itse Sagay SAN too that he was heading the unit of Gov ‘s campaign responsible for processing of form & bcos of the rush & tense circumstances in Alliance for Democracy as per Guber primaries caused the confusion.

10: Chief Gani Fawenhimi also appeared to give testimony. That the committee should determine if the law has been breached. Then Femi Falana appeared on behalf of Tinubu that no evidence has been led to show that Tinubu presented forged certificate to INEC. Chicago University

11: Chicago University has confirmed that Tinubu was a student of their University and he secured admission through Richard Daley College . The committee later sought legal advice from Chief Fred Agbaje a honest lawyer, Olisa Agbakoba, Deacon Dele Adeshina NBA chair, ikeja, finally the committee finding on the allegation of forgery was that “WE HAVE NO EVIDENCE that any forged document was presented to INEC” the only certificate presented to INEC was a transcript of CHICAGO STATE UNIVERSITY.

What's on my mind?
Tinubu is a smart politician and he has the capacity to rule this country. Call him a sick man or dead man he will still win 2023 elections. Buhari was accused of this item no evidence Tinubu went to university that more than qualified It is funny for anyone to believe that Tinubu didn't go to any school. Even Chief Gani Fawehinmi tried this in vain.

TINUBU's SOURCE OF WEALTH

Tinubu worked in some big American companies where he made money. He worked with Arthur Anderson, Deloitte, GTE Services Corporation, Haskins & Sells etc. Is it possible that one will work in those organizations and he won’t be rich?

Today, those who do menial jobs in America are building and buying houses in Nigeria, so why do you think that Tinubu who worked in those big companies will be poor?

Moreso, Tinubu worked in Mobil as their Chief Financial Officer. Can you work in Mobil as a line manager today and you won’t build houses both in your village and in Lagos?

I know those who are not even managers in Mobil who own houses in choicest place like Lekki Phase 1 today. So it is ridiculous that anyone will think that Tinubu was poor after he occupied the position of CFO at Mobil.

If Tinubu was not rich before he became governor how come he solely sponsored NADECO? Can a poor man sponsor a group that fought military rule ?

Tinubu is an Àccountant and only a fo*lish Accountant won’t understand how to manage money and make it grow.

Tinubu has been investigated by PDP for years and no trace or indictment of his person. Tinubu is only guilty in the court of haters and not in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Tolerance Becoming Crime ****************************

By Dr Chinedu Akabuike

1. Why do we hate Tinubu? What for?

2. Tinubu never worked with federal or Eastern Nigeria let alone stealing money from Ndi Igbo.

He never worked as Minister or taken any Federal Appointment!

3. He never joined APGA let alone sabotaging our Party's interest?

4. Tinubu didn't meddle in Igbo internal affairs either!

5. Why do we call him thief? What did he steal?

6. We call Yoruba "slaves". We never reflect on what it means to be slaves in the true sense of the word.

7. We are putting mouth in Lagos politics without caution, yet we have a proverb that says it is the foolish housefly that follows the co**se into the grave.

8. Can Yoruba man become an Association or Local Government Chairman in the East? Let us be sincere with ourselves. Yet we enjoy all these privileges here including Assembly Membership!

9. Why asking for what we can't give?

10. We are here helping the "slaves" to develop their land. Who then is a slave?

10b. You call their city a no man's land so that we can further be enslaved slaving to develop it, and our generations are wasted gloating over mere privileges. Who is a slave. Do we actually think?

11. Can Yoruba tell Okorocha "o to gee" in Owerri? He doesn't even need it. He is too intelligent to die for a pot of ofe manu or nothing.
12. After the civil war, for many of us who were old enough to have witnessed it, the Yoruba were the first to open their arms to receive and accept us as we were, crude savages in search for means of survival. It was regardless of what we equally did to them before and during the civil war. No party to the civil war was innocent! I also remember not paying any rent among Yoruba guys without a penny for my first 3years in Lagos and another 2 years in Ibadan.

13. Can we survive Yoruba attack in Yoruba land if they actually mean to? Will an Mbaise man cooperate with the Nsukka or Afikpo, or the Imo with Anambara?

14. If we all decide to relocate at once, Babangida send me home phenomena is still in the memory of some of us who survived the incessant and uncontrollable spate of robbery across the Onitsha bridge. How many people will want to go in spide of our empty pride?

15. If Yoruba people are as foolish as we foolishly think, why agitating? How will agitating be to our benefit?

16. Why not "O to gee" in Abia, Enugu or Owerri?

17. Can a man from Aba become a Commissioner or P.S. in Enugu State Civil Service? Yet it happened here! Why not be careful.

18. We adopted APGA and but "wisely" voted PDP. How was Tinubu our headache. Was he the cause of our downfall? Why always blame others for our inabilities and want to take glory for any small thing we think we have done well and even overblow it?

19. We claim we were so creative during the civil war. Now history. We also claim every made in Nigeria is from Aba. But go to Oyo and Oshogbo to see what "lazy" mechanics are doing quietly in the automobile industry, yet we make noise that other ethnics are either mumu or lazy except we (alagbara ma mero baba ole; the most hardworking humans who cannot develop their own land unfortunately).

20. Why looking for avoidable problem? Why?

21. It was you in the North being attacked, in Malaysia being killed, in Gabon and Ghana being molested. 99.9% of Nigerians killed in South Africa are of Igbo extraction, and sometimes by fellow 'hardworking' Igbo. Why?

22. We choose Kanu and he dictates to us without consultation with any one of us. They choose Tinubu who becomes a hero among them by bowing to or adopting the choice of their majority. Why are we angry?

We choose Azikwe and they choose Awolowo. How are they more mumuish followers than ourselves?

Zik became a president and we gained from it, Awo was only a premier, but we are only struggling to beat their records in all ramifications including education till today. How are they mumus?

We choose APGA and they choose APC, why agitating?

➡ Yoruba are yet to say Tinubu is their problem why do we want to die for nothing?

Why working in APGA but planning to collect salaries in APC?

I pray for the success of Biafra, but do we still remember that as Igbo we will automatically become foreigners on the streets of the Lagos we call a no Man's land?

How many of us will actually want to relocate home, should Biafra actualises or if if citizenship is on the condition that you relinquish all other citizenship in Africa? I leave that answer to the individual.

Nwayo nwayo biko unu.

Tinubu - The Leading Politician in South West!

I am not a fan of Tinubu but he is the leading Yoruba politician today. And as such, I won’t join the North to destroy him; and I won’t watch the North or anyone destroy him. He is presently the nightmare of the cabals.

Take Tinubu out of the way, South West is conquered politically. I put it to you all, who else do we have in South West PDP & APC??? I need just one politician in PDP or APC with that clout.

In PDP for instance, I doubt if any Yoruba politician joins the presidential race. We don’t have a Yoruba icon in PDP. Isorait ooo.

The only one we have in APC, we want to destroy him. If care is not taken Yoruba will be greatest loser in this game.

Tinubu is the reason Osinbajo is still talking and campaigning. If anything happens to Tinubu today, God forbid, presidency will just present their candidate and that’s the end.

As far as APC primaries is concerned, Tinubu has atleast 6 States’ delegates already. No presidential aspirant in APC has that.

On a final note, Tinubu is the man to beat!!!

2023: A Look At The APC’s 7,800 Delegates And Tinubu’s Unanimous Support .

Tinubu doesn't take up an impossible assignment nor romance failure. He will shock opportunists and pessimists.
- Chief Bisi Akande

Everything is now in place for the mother of all conventions, which will determine the presidential candidate for Africa's largest political party, the All Progressives Congress, APC.

The party has tentatively set the convention date for May 30/31 2022.

Of course, the APC would prefer an electoral process in which delegates from the 36 states of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory would choose the party's representative or a consensus arrangement where the President alongside the Governors and party stakeholders including the contestants would arrive at a consensus candidacy.

As it stands what are the chances of the various aspirants who have indicated an interest in the presidency under the APC.

The names of aspirants who have expressed interest in the party's ticket are listed below.

Bola Tinubu,David Umahi , Yemi Osinbajo, Rochas Okorocha, Rotimi Amaechi,Yahaya Bello,Sani Yerima

Orji Kalu, Chris Ngige, and Ogbonnaya Onu.

Now let us take a quick look at the national delegates according to their geo-political zones.

North West: 1, 924 delegates... South West: 1,568 delegates...North Central: 1,278 delegates

North East: 1, 212 delegates...South East: 838 delegates...South South 927 delegates.

Total = 7,800 Delegates.

A quick rundown from States is as follows,

Kano 465 delegates; Katsina 384; Borno 324; Osun 308; Lagos 304; Oyo 292; Jigawa 266; Niger 251; Ogun 248; Nasarawa 245; Abia 154, Adamawa 184; Akwa Ibom 165; Anambra 163, Bauchi 202; Bayelsa 79; Benue 180; Cross River 194; Delta 170; Ebonyi 154; Edo 168; Ekiti 216; Enugu 131; Gombe 134; Imo 236, Kaduna 234; Kebbi 213; Kogi 222; Kwara 195; Ondo 200; Plateau 185; Rivers 151; Sokoto 193; Taraba 146; Yobe 222; Zamfara 169 and FCT 53.

For the sake of space, we'll confine our litmus test to the top ten states for a comprehensive examination.

The top 10 in order of importance are listed below.

1. Kano 2. Katsina 3. Borno 4. Osun 5. Lagos 6. Oyo 7. Jigawa 8. Niger 9. Ogun 10. Nasarawa.

1 Kano:
If the body language of both Ganduje and Shekarau is anything to go by, Kano State is a no-go zone for other hopefuls. As we all know, the Governor of Kano State is a staunch Jagaban supporter. Ganduje is the only governor who can be regarded to be as close to Tinubu as he is.

Shekarau has stated numerous times that Kano State is sure for Tinubu.

2 Katsina.
HE Aminu Bello Masari is without a doubt Tinubu's most ardent supporter; he has always stated that when Tinubu leads, others will follow. His devotion to Tinubu is evident on a daily basis. Katsina State would undoubtedly be delivered by Aminu Bello Masari.

3 Borno State.
It may be of interest to you to know that Prof Zulum and Kassim Shettima, the predecessor to Prof Zulum, are renowned supporters of Tinubu's candidacy. Borno State is like Tinubu's Bourdillion residence.

4 Osun State
Other aspirants should avoid Osun, which has 308 delegates. We all saw how the Jagaban's close buddy Oyetola trounced Aregbesola in the recently concluded APC primaries in Osun State, and the delegates are unanimous in their support for Tinubu.

5 Lagos State
Lagos has four fewer delegates than Osun, with 304. Should we waste time debating whether or not Sanwo Olu would deliver for Tinubu? Please allow me to take a bow on behalf of Lagos.

6 Oyo State:

Because the PDP controls the state, Tinubu can count on 70 per cent of the delegates from Oyo even if the state does not show up solely for the Jagaban.

7 Jigawa State.
The Governor of Jigawa State, Muhammad Badaru Abubakar, is a close ally of Tinubu, and so also is the former Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Saminu Turaki, who has accompanied the Jagaban on most of his recent visits around the Northern States. In Jigawa, Tinubu has a strong showing.

8 Niger:
Are you aware that Abubakar Sani Bello, the governor of Niger State, has since endorsed Tinubu's candidacy?

9 Ogun:

Should we give Osinbajo the benefit of the doubt since it is his state? If history is any guide, Osinbajo when in Lagos APC never won an election in his ward as a sitting Vice President.
Would Adedapo Oluseun Abiodun betray Tinubu or Osinbajo by delivering Ogun? This question would be validated over time.

10 Nasarawa State
Governor Abdullahi A. Sule once wore Tinubu's signature cap to a meeting of the State Executive Council. He is Tinubu's unrepentant ally.

So, with these ten states and Tinubu very certain to win the majority of delegates, it's time to think about the Federation's entire 36 states.

Let me now explain how a consensus works for people who believe a consensus is the best way to be on the party's ticket.

The first criterion for a consensus is that all of the contestants agree. The next criterion is who has the ability to defeat the opposition PDP, and the final criterion is who has the support of the majority of stakeholders.

The last item on the list clearly illustrates that if there is a consensus, the most likely aspirant to emerge is the one who has the support of the majority of the delegates.

So, when conducting your own research, have a look at the other candidates stated above and conduct a thorough examination vis a vis the 36 States.

Politics is a local game; it's not about feeling or how you feel about your favourite candidate; it's about who is best equipped for the task at hand
