Our story began in 2020, when we were searching for books for our little girl and couldn’t find characters that looked like her. That sparked the idea for Little Scholars Playground.

Since then, we’ve grown to becoming a STEAM focused brand 🚀🎨🔬. Why STEAM? Because we believe science, tech, engineering, arts and maths can be fun, creative and full of imagination for little learners 💡.

We’re on a mission to inspire the next generation of curious minds, the question-askers, problem-solvers, inventors & creators of tomorrow 🌍.

Here at Little Scholars Playground, one of our missions is to serve and give back to our young people. Particularly in the area of STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art and Maths) 🧪👩🏾‍🔬📐👩🏼‍💻

I was invited to be on a panel with on Saturday, along with 6 other female role models in STEAM. We spoke about our careers in STEAM (a very male dominated industry), the challenges we face, how we overcome them and answered lots of the young girls questions.

Happy Carnival Sunday from Zara! 💃🏽 Today is children's day at Notting Hill Carnival . We hope everyone attending today has lots of fun 🥳

How many children's books have you read with a representation of carnival? Zara attends carnival in Zara's Caribbean Adventure: a lift-the-flap board book. Time to boom that getaway, what's going on with the weather in the UK!? 👀

Travel far, pay no fare, a book can take you anywhere! Who else is in desperate in need of a holiday!? Books are a great way to 'explore the world' with your little one. Reading our adventure series with your little scholar is a fun way to start learning more about the world and other cultures.

First stop, is Zara's Caribbean Adventure. Join Zara as she attends carnival, goes to the beach, eats a traditional Caribbean meal and more 🏝🌍

Second stop, is Emmanuel's African Adventure. Join Emmanuel as he goes to the market, goes on a safari, eats a traditional African meal and more 🏖🌎

Little ones will love lifting the flaps to reveal the sensory spectacular of the Caribbean and Africa! Bon voyage! ✈️

What an experience I recently had! 🌟
