We had the pleasure of speaking with Dola Amodu, author of the captivating novel ‘Destiny’. 📖✨

When asked about her inspiration for her book, Dola Amodu shared: “It was born from my love of reading, the enjoyment I derived from reading with my grandchildren, and the love of bringing African tales to readers, young and old.” ❤️

Her advice to aspiring authors is to: “If you are sure that you have a story to tell, just write it for your readers to enjoy and build a regular writing habit.” ✍️

Dola describes her book as: “A story that captivates the readers with its rich characters and meaningful themes that reveal the truth about human experiences, the African way.”

We had the pleasure of speaking with Bella Thrower, debut author of the romance novel ‘Paris Can’t Save Us’, it is a haunting tale of love, betrayal, fear, and fight. 📖

When asked about the inspiration behind her book, Bella shared: "I love stories and play them like films in my mind. I wanted to create something meaningful and entertaining, a book I would love to read myself."

Her top tip for aspiring authors is to "Write ideas first. If you have something to say, write it down, write and keep going until you have written a chapter, and then a book.” ✍️

We had the honour of speaking with John Walker Pattison, author of the award-winning memoir ‘Shadow of a Survivor’, it is a powerful true story of survival, resilience, and spiritual awakening.

When asked about the inspiration behind writing this influential book, he explained, “As one of the UK’s longest cancer survivors at fifty years, I know how important inspiration is during the long road of treatment. I wanted to keep giving to the cancer fraternity; patients, relatives, and loved ones and I knew my three-dimensional story could help.”

John describes his book as: “A journey of survival, resilience, and spiritual connection, chronicling my life from terminal cancer patient to cancer nurse specialist, father, and honorary member of the Lakota Sioux Nation.”

His advice for aspiring authors is to: “Write from the heart.” ✍️
