Looking back to where it all began… You might not know, but long before our first ever release, we had a radio show.
Transmissions from Outer South was a monthly affair on in Cape Town for a couple of years. The station was run by a very special group of people (s/o ) with similar intentions, carving out a lane for forward thinking music.
For us, it was chance to showcase the sounds inspiring our way of doing things, this genre-fluid, outernational flex that gave birth to OS as a brand and collective, all put together by our don .
We had guest appearances from the likes of and a certain , who we’d go on to have a beautiful long-running relationship with. And occasionally we’d dive deep into a genre or region, taking you on a journey through sound, history and culture. It was pure vibes tbh and a lot of fun.
