ড. পরমার সমাজবিজ্ঞানে পিএইচ.ডি, বাণিজ্যে স্নাতকোত্তর এবং শিক্ষায় স্নাতক ডিগ্রিধারী। তিনি দীর্ঘদিন ধরে ভারতের শিক্ষা ক্ষেত্রে নেতৃত্ব দিয়ে আসছেন। তিনি শ্রী সরস্বতী মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয়ের প্রধান শিক্ষক এবং পার্থ বিদ্যালয়ের প্রশাসনিক প্রধান হিসেবে দায়িত্ব পালন করেছেন।
তাঁর কার্যপরিধি কেবল শিক্ষাক্ষেত্রেই সীমাবদ্ধ নয়। তিনি সফলভাবে পরিচালনা করছেন গিরিরাজ ট্রাভেলস অ্যান্ড ট্যুরস এবং এইচজেপি এন্টারপ্রাইজ নামক দুটি প্রতিষ্ঠিত বাণিজ্যিক সংস্থা।
ড. পরমার-এর আন্তর্জাতিক অবদানও অত্যন্ত উল্লেখযোগ্য। আফ্রিকা, ইউরোপ ও আমেরিকার বিভিন্ন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে তিনি শান্তি, মানবাধিকার, শিক্ষা ও নেতৃত্ব বিষয়ে একাধিক সম্মানসূচক ডক্টরেট ডিগ্রি অর্জন করেছেন। তাঁর এই স্বীকৃতিগুলো বৈশ্বিক শিক্ষায় ভারতের অবস্থানকে সুদৃঢ় করেছে।
তিনি বর্তমানে আন্তর্জাতিক মিডিয়া ‘ই-প্রেস টিভি’-এর গুজরাট শাখার প্রধান হিসেবে দায়িত্ব পালন করছেন। এই দায়িত্বে থেকে তিনি সমাজ, মানবাধিকার, শিক্ষা ও আন্তর্জাতিক ইস্যুতে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রেখে চলেছেন। তাঁর সাংবাদিকতা কেবল তথ্য প্রচারেই সীমাবদ্ধ নয়, বরং সমাজকে সচেতন করাই তাঁর মুখ্য লক্ষ্য।
এছাড়াও, তিনি একাধিক আন্তর্জাতিক সংস্থার উচ্চপদস্থ দায়িত্বে রয়েছেন। তিনিঁ
শিক্ষা অধিকার ফাউন্ডেশন-এর মহাসচিব,
ইংরেজি মাস্টার শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানের উপাচার্য,
প্রিন্সেস লরাতু গ্লোবাল কলেজ, নাইজেরিয়া-র কলা ও সমাজবিজ্ঞান অনুষদের ডিন,
এবং ক্রাউন আন্তর্জাতিক বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের আন্তর্জাতিক উপদেষ্টা।
এছাড়া তিনি বিভিন্ন দেশের তরুণ সমাজ, শান্তি প্রতিষ্ঠা এবং মানবাধিকার সংরক্ষণে কাজ করে চলা সংগঠনের রাষ্ট্রদূত হিসেবেও দায়িত্ব পালন করছেন।
অ্যাপেলটন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় কর্তৃপক্ষ জানিয়েছে, “ড. পরমার-এর অভিজ্ঞতা ও দূরদর্শী চিন্তাভাবনা আমাদের বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের জন্য এক বিরল সম্পদ। তাঁর উপস্থিতিতে শিক্ষার্থীরা আন্তর্জাতিক মানের শিক্ষা ও মূল্যবোধে সমৃদ্ধ হবে।”
