We're thrilled to announce that 'My Hair is a River of Tears' has been officially selected for screening at the Northern Festival of Cinema!

The screening will take place on 4th July 2026 at the iconic Tyneside Cinema in Newcastle upon Tyne, as part of a fantastic three-day celebration of film and creativity.

We’re thrilled to share that we had a hugely successful premiere, filling 75% of the seats!

It was such a special evening, made even more memorable by the wonderful performance of the film’s original song by Miriam Ashford and Dylan Friedrich.
