Blue Robin Press is owned by Alison Grunwald, a former journalist, counsellor, primary school teaching assistant and doula. It publishes her original, rib-tickling stories for children aged six to nine, featuring disaster-prone, bossy Grandma and her long-suffering black and white cat, Gertrude. Each wacky adventure is full of jokes and colourful, witty cartoons by Mike Phillips. Grandma rubs everyone up the wrong way, makes unfailingly bad decisions and has a knack for attracting trouble - often escaping from the jaws of doom by the skin of her teeth, her brilliant cunning and terrible jokes.
