Working on finishing this one. The illustrations are all done. Now I am just trying to think of some suitable group exercises. I basically include two per book. The first is usually a set of questions about the contents - in this case about the different modes of transport that they saw in the book and some questions related to modes of transportation.
I think the second group exercise will be a game where they need to call out what type of transportation they see while in a car/bus or just walking to school etc. BUT - they have to say it in Samoan.

once that is done I can request a proof copy and check it. Then baring the need for any corrections to the text or alterations to the images I can publish it.

I am also working on some of the other books in this series and starting to work on some Level Two books. I have also been working on other stuff including continuing to develop the whole graphic novel series concept. ie creating the characters, developing story lines, scenes and even some story booking.

Waiting for the proof copy of this which I should get next week.
Hopefully there will be no more things to fix so I can publish.
Then I can also create the French and German editions which basically just involves my saving the English edition as two new files and then going in and replacing all the English text with French or German. I should probably do a Dutch edition too.
Well okay I probably will but unless I actually get any interest I will hold off publishing it.
I am sort of hoarding my ISBNs as they cost $$$ so I want to save them for the books that actually get bought by people. Each edition has its own ISBN that way customers, bookstores and libraries know they are getting the exact edition they ordered.

Other stuff that has been in the pipeline so to speak. All at various stages of completion.
These are basically reprints of out of print books of great historical value which I am in the process of annotating for modern readers.
This includes explanatory footnotes, a comprehensive glossary, short biographies of any individuals mentioned as well as an index and where possible maps and other material.
In some cases the additional material doubles the size of the book.
So it is not a reprint as much as a new edition as it contains considerable additional material. the problem is it takes a lot of time to do the research ... but bit by bit I am getting there.
oh and in some case this includes translations (French into English and German into English)

Started putting together a series of books for children to learn Samoan.
I am preparing the material as well as the illustrations. I think these will end up being full colour. The size will be either that of and A4 size book or close. I think A4 is big enough for a children's book.
Here is one of the characters I have created to illustrate the book.
