13 months of embracing my natural curls — and I’m finally loving them! 💛

I spent years hating my frizzy wavy/curly hair, keeping it cut very short. Then GHDs came along and I straightened it for 20+ years! Now they’re basically a glorified ornament… I can’t quite part with them, but I’m definitely not using them! 😄

Good products, my Bounce Curl brush, and suddenly my curls actually have definition.

Just over a year ago I put away my hair straighteners and decided to embrace my natural curls. Since then it’s been a lot of trial and error learning how to care for them and discovering which products work best!

Looking back, I’m really pleased with the difference in my curl formation – and I hadn’t realised how much it’s grown either. I had it trimmed back in November and will be getting it done again soon.

I’ve not been swimming as regularly as I was and need to!! so Although ’ve lots I need to be doing. That’s all going to wait & I’m prioritising me. Off to the pool I go. 😍🏊🏻‍♀️
