Are the wives of preachers automatically preachers and can women lead public ministries within the body of Christ?

i. No, the wives of preachers do not automatically become preachers because of marriage. They too need to receive a call directly from Jesus as their husbands did and willingly accept it. However, their being joined by the covenant of matrimony to their preacher husbands automatically obligates them to build robust support systems for their husbands’ ministries at the home front.

ii. In Christ, there are no males or females, there are only believers (Galatians 3:28). The Christian ministry is not gender-based, it is grace-based. So, yes, women can lead public ministries in the body of Christ.
