At the start of the year I set myself some goals and one of those goals was to;

• Learn more about the tech I use

When I got this OG DS it was perfectly fine but when I got it home the hinge had broken and I was so annoyed but I figured it would be an amazing learning opportunity and rehousing a handheld console is something I’ve wanted to learn for a while now as I have a great lil collection of handhelds but also some that need fixing.

This DS took a lot of trial and error and a couple of step by step videos to learn what I needed and what I had to do to rehouse it safely without damaging anything. The first hurdle was a completely stripped screw which I took to a tech shop to get removed but after that it only took me a little over an hour to learn what to do. It was a great opportunity to learn about what parts make up a DS and just how fragile they can be!

I’m pretty proud of myself with this one though, because there were so many tiny parts and things that could go wrong but I did it and the outcome was exactly what I wanted!

I finally have a cute Lilac handheld for my collection. 💜💟🌟🥰🥳🎉

Absolutely loved the weekend at DreamHack at my first event as an official creator. We met so many awesome people and got to spend time with old mates too!! Count down is on for next year!
