I'm a dude and when I was between the ages 17-22, I used to get my little brother who was between the ages 5-10 to sleep next to me.

It wouldn't be actual sleep, just light naps. He would come to me wanting something e.g the TV remote control. I would tell him he has to sleep beside me for a little if he wants it. He'd be reluctant and annoyed but would eventually agree

So I would lie in my bed and he'd be next to me. I'd be on my side and he'd usually be on his back. Sometimes I'd try and be the big spoon and cuddle him. He'd lie there frustratingly waiting for the 'nap' to be over and constantly ask if it's enough. Sometimes when he tried to get up, I'd pull him closer

I would then let him go and give him whatever he came to get. Idk why I ever did this. It was nothing s*xual, I've never gotten aroused by it or anything. I just liked having him there close to me especially since he was so adorable.

I'm sure he thought I was weird as hell. Looking back, that was fu***ng weird and I'm horrified that I ever did that. I feel like a p-phile even though I never touched him inappropriately or even thought of him in a s*xual manner ever. I have also never been s*xually attracted to kids or looked at child p***. 😳 But this wasn’t the end…

35M here with 33F wife, married 5 years with two younger kids. Our s*x life after kids never really bounced back and is basically once a month at this point.

My concern is, her obsession with romance novels is hurting our s*x life and our marriage. She reads romance novels every chance she can get. Mafia arranged marriages, vampire romance, Christmas hookups, from mostly romance to pretty smutty. You name it, she reads it - and it’s all the time. At the dinner table, before bed, while the kids are watching tv and I’m cooking, etc.

First, I think she puts herself in those situations and gets a lot of her needs met through the books. I’ve heard a lot of people describe them as the equivalent of p**n for women.

Second, she spends so much time reading them, we literally have nothing to talk about or add in daily conversation because she just says that she read “books” and she’s too embarrassed about the details. We regularly joke with people that if we didn’t have kids I’m not sure what we’d have in common anymore, since her days consist of work and reading and occasional reality tv. She’s on track to read well over 150 of them by end of year if she continues at this pace.

WIBTA for going to stay with my daughter again after my daughter in law asked me to stay home? 😔

I have two kids, both adults with their own children. My son married his wife, who we’ll call Jessica, at 18. She had some problems at home and they were basically children so we let them live with us. One year after, my son got her pregnant. I wanted to kick them out but my husband made me give up that idea. We told them they would live with us for free but everything baby related was on them. My son got a job, but Jessica stayed home.

Two months ago, my son and her had twins, and they still live with us. I honestly don’t mind anymore because the house is big enough, everyone has their own space, we get along and everything is generally fine.

My daughter had her second baby a year ago and since then I’ve been at her place three or four times a week, often overnight. She works, does most of the housework, and she and her husband pay for everything so I like being there for her to help her with what I can.

With Jessica, I have to say, we handle things a little different. We have a cleaning service that comes twice a week, as well as a gardener (I hate cleaning and gardening and I’ve never asked her to do it), and that includes both her room and my grandchildren's rooms. My husband covers all groceries and bills, we all split the cooking and the laundry equally.

Hired a detective last weekend, he caught my husband with his ex-secretary on Saturday night. Plenty of pictures, there isn't any disputing this or the happenings. Kissing, hand holding and back to her room together for the entire night. Zero doubt on the events of the evening.

They were at a weekend business conference, I suspected it and was right. I actually felt like complete s**t in the lead up and to a lesser degree still do, but his behavior was a bit off for a couple weeks, I had that terrible gut feeling. I let him know over text this morning that he was caught, read receipt but no reply. I didn't state any intentions, I just told him I will just take a break to gather my thoughts, he should do the same and I need to see if I can find a way to trust again. As expected, today has been a rolldercoaster of emotion, anger and tears galore. This is the absolute worst feeling ever, I wish this on nobody, which leads me to the next thought...Do I send the pics to the secretary's husband. I'm conflicted on that, I'm not a vindictive person and it is not intended to hurt the secretary, but my thinking that I would want to know if he had found out instead.
