“This isn’t promo art. This is a collector’s masterpiece.” - Seattle’s The Game Post

We were proud to help launch Moth & Wolf - a limited-edition whisky inspired by The Last of Us - with a once-in-a-lifetime event in Capitol Hill, Seattle, Washington.

Streamers, Journalists and fans were invited to the exclusive event where they could discover the custom bottle design and experience the immersive visuals.

Everything was crafted with love and detail for the fans. Signed bottles, living posters, an emotional live set from Troy Baker (Voice of Joel) and stories from Neil Druckmann himself (Creator of TLOU)

We obsessed over a fan first creative strategy, the visuals and collaborated on the poster artwork alongside the incredible Kevin Tong approved , and the motion assets that lit up the room.

Every shot. Every pour. Every frame.

We collaborated on this poster with - one of Naughty Dog’s approved artists and poured just as much attention into it as Chivas Brothers did the whisky blend.

Every detail was intentional. From the Pacific Northwest ferns to the wolf’s stare, it’s full of nods only true fans will catch.

We also built a motion version, layered and animated, so the work could live on screens... not just walls.

In gaming, loot isn’t just gear it’s gold. It’s the FOMO of the side quest.

So when we teamed up with to launch the world’s first video game whisky in the real world, we knew it needed more than a bottle. It needed loot.

Inspired by the in-game trading cards from The Last of Us Part II, we partnered with (the original artist behind the TLOU collectible cards) to design a one-off Moth & Wolf trading card that felt like it belonged in the world of the game.

Real-world versions were printed and dropped at live events across the USA, handed to fans as if they’d just scavenged them themselves.

Only a few official cards now exist in the real world...

Creating bold, disruptive work with means the world to us, and to have it recognised globally — in both Experimental and Viral categories is seriously humbling against such incredible odds.

Sharing the same stage as work and recognition from icons like Snoop, Eminem and Ice T? A pretty surreal moment.

This isn’t a set. It’s a shrine.

To celebrate the return of The Last of Us Season 2, we’re lifting the lid on the award winning rebellious world we built for Moth & Wolf — the first-ever whisky inspired by a video game.

Every item in these shots is loaded with intent.

This was never about creating a “cool” environment. It was about honouring the game’s obsessive detail.

🧭 Overgrown ivy + brutalist skylines — Seattle chapter coded.

💨 A fully specced gas mask - because in this world, spores don’t play.

📅 Calendar stopped on September 26, 2013 - the official Outbreak Day, when the world fell apart.

⚙️ Gears, flashlights, hand-scrawled notes - all crafted to mirror scavenged player environments.

🐺 WLF graffitied on the wall — direct callout to the game’s faction warfare.
🎒 Even the backpack carries a military-style pin, reminiscent of Joel’s and Ellie’s gear.

The deeper you look, the more you’ll find.
Because this wasn’t just a shoot it was a tribute. A fandom-built love letter in physical form.

From ‘Shady Beauty’ to ‘Slim Shady’... Thumbstoppers is honoured to be in good company.

Shady Beauty - our fake (but brutally honest) cosmetics brand for World Vision has been recognised Globally as a Webby Honoree in the Social: Experimental, Innovation & Viral category.

Only the top 25% of 13,000 entries globally, made the cut. That puts us just shy of a nomination but in the same category as Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty and Eminems excellent Slim vs. Marshall creative idea for Complex.

It means alot to see the the power of this idea recognised outside the non-profit categories once again and this time versus North American entries - We are big fans so this is not bad company to keep at all!

Shady Beauty is one of our boldest plays and we are incredibly proud of it. A fake brand built to expose the real ugliness behind the beauty industry — child labour in supply chains hidden behind ‘cruelty-free’ marketing.

- Fake followers. Real impact.
- A twisted tone. A serious message.
- And now… a shiny new Webby Honoree badge.
