To celebrate the return of The Last of Us Season 2, we’re lifting the lid on the award winning rebellious world we built for Moth & Wolf — the first-ever whisky inspired by a video game.
Every item in these shots is loaded with intent.
This was never about creating a “cool” environment. It was about honouring the game’s obsessive detail.
🧭 Overgrown ivy + brutalist skylines — Seattle chapter coded.
💨 A fully specced gas mask - because in this world, spores don’t play.
📅 Calendar stopped on September 26, 2013 - the official Outbreak Day, when the world fell apart.
⚙️ Gears, flashlights, hand-scrawled notes - all crafted to mirror scavenged player environments.
🐺 WLF graffitied on the wall — direct callout to the game’s faction warfare.
🎒 Even the backpack carries a military-style pin, reminiscent of Joel’s and Ellie’s gear.
The deeper you look, the more you’ll find.
Because this wasn’t just a shoot it was a tribute. A fandom-built love letter in physical form.
