I climbed the 3rd highest mountain in Norway, my first ever proper big girl mountain!

1000m drop… so don’t drop.

When the clouds parted the views of the surrounding mountains and glaciers was jaw dropping.

My new boots and I lost our crampon virginity on the Glacier

I did in fact look down …

Got down from the mountain and turned around to look at what we’d conquered.

Pretty large.

Can confirm the way down is 10x more difficult than the way up.

After 3000 miles driving from the UK to Norway, Blue Tit, my little adventure machine, has been truly fantastic!

She’s been purring along, through the fjords, up the mountains, and across so many boarders.

Often on these trips, the hub cap starts leaking but this time the main hub bit was gushing in full force.

After a big slice of serendipity, these lovely gentlemen invited us into their jaw dropping garage in Oslo. New gasket on, and her wheel is now as dry as a dry thing.

I do feel very lucky to be consistently reminded of the kindness of Land Rover loving strangers :)

Yet another reason why Land Rovers are the best road trip car in the WORLD!

The Fjords of Norway in my little Land Rover, what could be better??

We’ve been getting a fair few appreciative nods out here, partly because she’s a beautiful little Landy, and partly because she’s right hand drive, which, to the Norwegians seems mind boggling.

What’s wrong?
A light or two
A seal or two
A leak or two

What’s right?
Basically everything- she’s running like a champ!!!

So that was Lofoten and you definitely SHOULD NOT GO, it was horrible in every way :)

11/10 to for litterally crossing the world to come adventure. I adore you!

Never have I been so grateful to see a little hut in the mountains.

Even driving to the mountains was stunning… I think all drives are better a Land Rover… apart from speed drives… or uphills… but that’s by the by.

Bee bopping around Lofoten.

I was so ready for it to be underwhelming having seen so much content showing the insane views… so I’d love to say it wasn’t what it looks like, but it was every bit as surreal as it appears online.

Hostels in the harbour with saunas, the blooming solar eclipse, Kardemommebolle, knitted jumpers, ultra long sunsets, beautiful island.

Ugh I bloody love Norway
