What an honour to have been part of this year’s Superhero Tri, powered by Marvel 💥

Created by Paralympian Sophia Warner, Superhero Tri is the world’s only mass-participation grassroots sports event exclusively for people with disabilities. This year, close to 5,000 Everyday Superheroes and Sidekicks descended on Dorney Lake for a day that truly removed barriers to sport, with everyone encouraged to take their time, use whatever adaptive super kit, gadgets and gizmos they needed and, above all, celebrate the joy of participation.

It was a privilege to follow the incredible journey of Team Sienna, joined by Alex Brooker and Maisie Summers-Newton MBE. Their energy and determination captured everything this event is about.

We loved working with the wider team to help share these stories and shine a light on such an inspiring celebration of ability, community and fun.

Sunrise swim - getting it done while the rest of London sleeps at Brockwell Lido.

Earlier this summer we took a dip at Brockwell Lido to mark the first swim of the summer season (literally), getting hundreds of people in the pool at sunrise. Drawing an overwhelming response from the local community. As the Centre Manager put it, she’d never seen so many people in the pool at once – not even in summer 👏🏊

To mark joining the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower, Parkwood Leisure held inclusive Special Education Needs (SEN) LEGO therapy for Autism Awareness Month - designed to help build confidence, raise self-esteem, and encourage purposeful conversation

We kicked things off with an exclusive Runway Ride event🚴‍♂️To make sure the buzz around the launch reached the right audience, we worked hard to get the 1R Collection featured in some of the top mags like Country and Town House, RED magazine, Glamour UK, Mens' Health UK, and more.

We are so proud to share that our client Neurokinex has made huge progress in Spinal Cord Injury research having played its part in conducting and completing the Pathfinder2 spinal stimulation study in partnership with ONWARD and funded by Spinal Research🧑‍⚕️

It has been a privilege to work alongside the Spinal Research PR team to secure coverage from broadcast to online to print. Since the news broke on Monday, the media spread so far includes BBC news, ITV news and Good Morning Britain, national press including The Times, The Daily Mail and The Independent, trade press including NR Times, plus over 100 pieces of regional press.

We know how much this means to Neurokinex and share their hope that soon the ONWARD ARC-EX Therapy will enable them to deliver even greater gains for people living with a spinal cord injury.

Great Britain at the Olympics – highlighting the important of the leisure industry
 
The Olympic athletes of Great Britain have dedicated their lives to training and are racking up the medals at Paris. Last night we witnessed the dominant performance of .hodgkinson securing Gold in last night’s 800m final, to last week eaty adding another medal to his collection. The historic successes of , , , and , to mention just a few, are also worth remembering.
 
What links all of these incredible athletes? They all started out at their local leisure centre.
 
Grassroots sports and activities at leisure centres are essential, not just in keeping our nation healthy, active and social, but also in inspiring the next generation of elite athletes. 
 
Our client Moving Communities is helping the leisure industry maximise its impact. by providing a real-time view of local authority facility performance, with benchmarking and filtering functionality, that explores financial performance alongside understanding how effective the service is and for whom, along with its impact on local communities.
