Marking five years of 3 Feet Deep, this digital release celebrate 10 records, events across London and Paris, and above all, friendships that span the globe.

This 9-track compilation brings together artists from all over the world, blending familiar names with fresh faces who have been close to the label for some time. It’s all about great music, real connections, and the memories made along the way.

After 9 releases and a repress (3FDRWD001), 3FD009 marks the 10th release of the label and we thought we would take a moment to thanks everyone involved.

Each record has been an adventure between the label, the artist, and the graphic designer connecting different cities and a shared passion for music.

28 artists and counting, many tunes, and 3 wonderful designer to capture the identity of the label...

3 Feet Deep welcomes London producer and label owner Jordan Dessar with three breaks-influenced tracks topped off with a remix from the Japanese producer Stones Taro.

This EP showcases what Jordan does best: finding rare seductive forgotten gems, wisely sampling them through his MPC and giving them a new life through powerful breaks and groovy bass lines.

Hailing from Baltimore, producer & DJ Chip Watkins aka DJ WHO has released more than 50 records over the course of his two-decade long career. A master of versatility, his sound draws inspiration from many genres including breaks, house, UK bass and garage, and progressive tribal house.

Our new release is available for pre-order - a bit of read about the artist and the release below!

Kicking off its latest series “Rewind” focused on reissues, 3 Feet Deep travels back in time with DJ WHO to curate a selection of his favorite releases and a remix from Pepe Elle.

Hailing from Baltimore, producer & DJ Chip Watkins aka DJ WHO has released more than 50 records over the course of his two-decade long career. A master of versatility, his sound draws inspiration from many genres including breaks, house, UK bass and garage, and progressive tribal house.

Side A loads up two tracks. First up is the mesmerizing 2-step anthem I Like It, which draws the listener with its hypnotic loops, shimmering vocals, and a groovy chugging sub.
A2 Pump the Method was first recorded in mono for the legendary Love Parade, to – in his own words – “crush the crowd from the floats that were all in mono”. The result is a raw club tool with heavy breaks and a roaring bassline.

On the flip side, inspired by a trip out west to the San Francisco underground, B1 In D’Faze (Street Knowledge Mix) combines NWA samples with an irresistible percussive drum break, over a tweaking acid bassline giving it that old-school West Coast groove.

Finally, Pépé Elle offers a fresh interpretation of A1 I Like It. Building on the enchanting vocals of the original track, he layers on spectral echoes, chopped punchy drums, and heavy bass sounds taking the original sound down a darker path.

A side loads up 2 tracks (I Like it/ Pump The Method) released in 2001 on Kaleidoscope music with the flip promising both an original from ‘East Coast Knowledge E.P’ released on Shaken Not Stirred in 1996, and a fresh new remix of ‘I Like It’ from label affiliate, Pépé Elle.

All tracks freshly remastered by Marco Pellegrino at Analogcut.
