New Blog post on the website. From a guitar on my back to building a premier recording studio in London — what a journey it’s been!
In 2007, I arrived in London with a dream. No roadmap, no formal studio experience — just passion, perseverance, and a deep love for music.
Starting as an eager engineer at Berwick Street Studios, I spent years learning everything I could about sound, recording, and production, working with amazing artists and iconic labels like Ninja Tune and Acid Jazz along the way.
Fast forward to 2016: I founded Blue Room Studios in a tiny, noisy room under a café in Shoreditch. Today, after recording nearly 100 songs, countless sync placements, and collaborations with acts like Swim Deep, we’ve opened an exciting new chapter in Kilburn—growing our artist community and expanding our live performance sessions.
Blue Room Studios is built on passion, resilience, and a belief that every artist deserves a space where creativity thrives.
