🇫🇷I haven’t posted for some time due to being so busy, so I thought I’d post this photo taken from my garden in beautiful Calvados to make myself a little more familiar to everyone!
☀️Not many editors can say they spent their whole summer working in their swimsuit, but this is exactly what I did!
✍🏻The glorious sunshine made all the difference, as I continued to edit a multitude of manuscripts and meet tight deadlines.
📖All these narratives took me on a journey to different countries and fascinating locations. From the forests of Canada to the Arizona desert alongside a journey to China and a narrative set in both past and present that focused on the Manchester 90s rave scene.
📚The protagonists all had their dilemmas and it was my job to ensure these trials and tribulations were developed to ensure a level of commercial viability.
🖊A good editor will edit but a great editor feels what a protagonist feels and steps into their world so they can see them and hear their voices.
✅I’m passionate about stories, and have spent my working life analysing and successfully developing them.
🩱It’s especially good when I can work on manuscripts in my swimwear!
