Enfield Council's Holocaust Day Memorial Online Event: 27th January 2022

We do hope you’re able to join Enfield’s Holocaust Memorial Day event which is being held on Thursday evening, 27th January. You can watch the online event at https://youtu.be/-qD3gGc73V8 from 7pm. A programme for the ‘One Hour to remember One Day’ event is also attached.

Do you live in Enfield? Are you interested in learning more about journalism?

This Thursday, 20th January, Enfield Dispatch will be facilitating a workshop on Zoom to give local people an insight into how local news is made and to help increase understanding between journalists and the local community.

In this 2 hour workshop we will have an exercise and discussion about what local news is, what issues should be covered in the news, and why or why not local news is important. Attendees will also have a chance to explore what they would like to know from a story, in an exercise looking at existing headlines.

The second half of the workshop is where attendees will learn about how to write for Enfield Dispatch and ask any questions to Editor James Cracknell.
