๐๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ 8th of December 2020, Catherine and William visited Cardiff as a part of the Royal Train Tour.
Their first stop was a visit to Cardiff Castle, where they could browse booths set up as part of the Christmas Castle festival. They even toasted marshmallows over a fire. They met university students and heard about the mental health challenges they faced during the pandemic.
The couple then traveled to Bath, where they were welcomed at the train station by Lord-Lieutenant of Somerset, Mrs. Annie Maw and the Warner family. Jasmine Warner, 5, her brother Otto, 8, who had come out of cancer treatment that day her sister Poppy, 10, and the childrenโs mother, Georgie, were there to meet the Prince and Princess of Wales.
After that, the royal couple made a visit to Cleeve Court Care Home in Twerton, Bath, where residents eagerly awaited their visit.
After the visit, the royals did a quick walkabout, before visiting The Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading, where the Princess was born. The couple met members of the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trustโs 775-strong team of nurses and midwives.
