What is Pattern Grading?
Pattern grading is the process of producing patterns of different sizes from a master pattern according to a specified size chart. Generally, grading is the process used by clothing manufacturers to produce pattern for a garment in a range of sizes for ready-to-wear clothing. In order to grade a pattern, increases (or decreases) are applied at specific points of a pattern to make each new pattern in another larger (or smaller) size.

In other way we can say, garment pattern grading is the process of manual or digital adjustment of your sample pattern from one size to another with the help of size specification chart and without changing the original style, initial look, and shape etc.
