I'm aware its
I'm aware I've posted this before, but I'm also aware I don't care. Awareness is a magical thing, lots of people have it, many don't. Self that is.
Like if you're out and you find an owl on owlets, and you take some photos and then feel the pride in knowing you got to experience something special and you know that if you were to go home and post it, right away you're going to have all the local w**kers w**king about with their w***y wants and then you've just disclosed a spot that needs some protection from people just as unaware as you. Cause lemme tell ya, nothing brings out those w**ks like an owlet. I am aware I used w**k many times in many ways.
So holding on to that image until the owlets have fledged is the right and ethical thing to do, will the images be less impressive if you hold on to them for a while? No of course not. I'll caveat that with, the images might be s**t, then you'll just post them all anyhow because you're that unaware of how s**t they are. Thats a different post.
Hold on a few weeks or months, what are you gaining by posting today...your excitement will build and you'll give the birds a chance to be unbothered by the hordes of wantwits. Olde English for w**ker.
We're supposed to be wildlife photographers, and putting pressure on owls trying to feed young isn't the ethical thing to do, and then adding more people to the equation is even worse. We can't put the shot before the welfare of the animals.
Some of us are aware...some of us are not. Don't be driven by likes and compromise the animals safety.
