Last week we had the privilege of an intimate screening of Under the Open Sky at The Garden Cinema’s new strand of nature and environment-focused screenings.

7 years in the making, the film was directed and edited by Sonum Sumaria. A beautifully-crafted observational documentary, it takes audiences on a rare, immersive and intimate journey through time with a nomadic camel-herding family in the desert lands of Western India.

Under the Open Sky will be screening next at the Bertha DocHouse (12, 14, 15 Oct) and at Genesis Cinema - including a panel discussion at 12:45pm on Sun 19th Oct.
