Last week we hosted our Christmas party for our freelancers, and it was a joy to see so many of our favourite people in person😀.

Even in a challenging year for TV, what stood out was the passion everyone still has for their work - eyes lit up as people shared the moments, projects and wins that made this year meaningful.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for such a brilliant evening. Celebrating together reminded us how proud we are to represent such an exceptional community of creative professionals and how much talent and heart lives in our industry.

Wishing you all a joyful festive season and an inspiring year ahead. Here’s to more creativity, collaborations and standout work in 2026!🎄

So delighted for the success of our Editor Alethea Lindsay of 'Cut the Carbon' and Clear Cut Pictures, joint winners in the Sustainability Category at the Broadcast Tech and Innovation Awards last night! Described by judges as “A fantastic initiative that will result in concrete sustainability results.” We are looking forward to their future work and impact for the industry. Nice one!

We are absolutely delighted to announce that we won a for Best Sustainability Initiative! This recognises our development of a system for measuring carbon output in the post production industry in partnership with Alethea Lindsay from Cut the Carbon Ltd.

We are very proud of the efforts from our team has made on this ground-breaking project and are very grateful to Broadcast Tech for supporting us and highlighting us amongst a crowd of other worthy causes. Our next steps with this project will be to use our proven methodology to evaluate all post services across different companies, sites and situations, so we look forward to hearing from you environmentally conscious folk soon!

This November we’re celebrating Kim’s 12 amazing years at Blueberry!

As our Head of Accounts (and so much more), Kim is the voice of reason, a shoulder to lean on, and always brings a mix of pragmatism, warmth, and good humour to the team. She’s also our Queen of Halloween, making the spooky season extra special every year with tricks, treats, and plenty of laughs.

Beyond making work fun and supported, Kim keeps Blueberry running smoothly - making sure all our freelancers are paid on time, handling invoicing, collections, payments, and keeping the books balanced. Her attention to detail, care for people, and all-round brilliance make her an absolute rock for us all.

We’re so grateful for everything she brings - we truly couldn’t wish for a better colleague and Head of Accounts.

In October, we said “hasta luego” to our much-loved colleague Ramon, who after more than 10 years in London has returned home to sunny Barcelona.

Ramon has been our Operations Co-ordinator for over 3 three years and is truly, a man of many talents. When he first applied, the line that caught our eye was: “I like games with a lot of admin.” He’s certainly lived up to it!

With his fun, spirited personality and sharp attention to detail, Ramon tackled every challenge with enthusiasm. From streamlining processes and troubleshooting IT issues to problem-solving and keeping our daily operations running smoothly. Always ready in a snap to help colleagues and with a can-do attitude to the myriad of random tasks we launched his way. Ramon brought progress, energy, laughter, and many new games to the team.

We’ll miss Ramon’s creativity, positivity, and the competitive fun he brought to every day and wish him every success on his next chapter - and we can’t wait for a reunion (and rematches!) next time he’s back in London. Until then, sending our love for settling into a new home and new job in Barcelona.
