During his time in the UK, Drake headlined all three nights at Wireless — each with a different serialist and vibe. At one of the shows, the crowd started chanting “F‑‑‑ Kendrick” which prompted Drake to raise a shot and declare “I’ll drink to that,” tying the moment straight into his ongoing lawsuit against UMG over Kendrick’s diss track “Not Like Us.”

Released without any preceding singles on July 21, 2025, Tyler’s ninth studio album runs just 28 minutes across 10 dance‑forward tracks blending funk, synth‑pop, and techno.

DON’T TAP THE GLASS teased during a July  18 art installation at Barclays Center (part of his Chromakopia tour) and confirmed via a promotional website/drops on July 19.

Produced entirely by Tyler, it features no credited collaborators, though Pharrell Williams and others contribute (uncredited or as part of samples).

It’s explicitly described as a dance‑focused, movement-oriented album meant to be experienced while dancing, driving, or running. A music video for “Stop Playing With Me” includes cameos by LeBron James, Clipse, and Maverick Carter.

In a recent conversation with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, composer and producer Ludwig Göransson reflected on the end of Donald Glover’s iconic Gambino era.

Known for their deep creative partnership, Göransson and Glover first crossed paths on the set of the TV show Community. What started as a chance meeting blossomed into a long-running collaboration that pushed boundaries and shaped the sound of a generation. Together, they created genre-defying projects under the Gambino name — albums like Camp, Because the Internet, and Awaken, My Love!, as well as the Grammy-winning anthem “This Is America.”

Göransson admitted to occasionally revisiting their past work. “Sometimes I go back and listen,” he shared. “We’ve done so much. I’m very, very proud of it.”

While the chapter of Childish Gambino may have closed, Göransson remains optimistic about Glover’s future in music. “I wasn’t sad. Because I know that it’s not like he’s gonna stop making music,” he said. The creative journey between the two might not be over just yet — there could be a new chapter waiting to unfold.

A federal jury in Manhattan delivered a partial guilty verdict Tuesday in the high-profile trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs. The music mogul was convicted on two counts of violating the Mann Act — transporting individuals across state lines for prostitution — but acquitted on more serious charges of racketeering conspiracy and s*x trafficking.
The trial, which lasted seven weeks, included testimony from 34 witnesses, including former partner Casandra “Cassie” Ventura. Prosecutors said Combs arranged drug-fuelled s*x events and used his power and wealth to manipulate and exploit others. Combs denied the allegations and maintained that all encounters were consensual.
Judge Arun Subramanian denied Combs’ request for release, citing past violent behaviour and the seriousness of the convictions. Sentencing is set for October 3. Prosecutors are expected to seek four to five years in prison.
In addition to the criminal case, Combs faces a growing wave of civil lawsuits — over 50 have been filed, many echoing the same accusations of abuse, trafficking, and coercion. Several of the plaintiffs have come forward since a 2023 video surfaced showing Combs assaulting Ventura. Legal experts say the civil suits could result in substantial financial damages and prolonged legal battles.
The verdict marks a dramatic fall for one of hip-hop’s most powerful figures, with both criminal consequences and a potentially devastating civil case load ahead.

After 15 years, Clipse—Pusha T and No Malice—are officially back. Their new album, Let God Sort ‘Em Out, drops July 11, 2025, via Roc Nation, marking their first release since 2009’s Til the Casket Drops. The reunion was unveiled at Louis Vuitton’s Paris fashion show, where they previewed new music alongside longtime collaborator and producer Pharrell.

The surprise single “Ace Trumpets”, released the night of the LV show, set the tone with bold bars and a classic Neptunes vibe. Their follow-up single, “So Be It”, dropped mid-June with a striking black-and-white video directed by Hannan Hussain.

Pusha T recently confirmed that part of “So Be It” includes a diss aimed at Travis Scott — fueled by loyalty to Pharrell after Travis allegedly cut a Drake verse dissing him. Still, Clipse is focused on more than drama. Tracks like “Birds Don’t Sing” (featuring John Legend) deal with loss and spirituality, while the GQ interview hinted at features from Kendrick Lamar, Nas, and Stove God Cooks.

The duo also announced their first U.S. tour in over 15 years, launching August 3 with support from EarthGang. With Pharrell producing the entire album and visuals handled by KAWS, Clipse is blending timeless energy with a fresh vision.

RZA’s latest film ‘One Spoon of Chocolate’ will have its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on June 8, 2025. The action-thriller stars Shameik Moore as Unique, a former soldier wrongfully imprisoned, who relocates to a small Ohio town seeking a fresh start. There, he reunites with his cousin Ramsey (RJ Cyler) but soon uncovers a violent conspiracy led by a racist sheriff targeting young Black men.

The cast includes Paris Jackson, Blair Underwood, E’myri Crutchfield, and musician Jason Isbell in his feature film debut. RZA, who also wrote and directed the film, began developing the project in 2011. Filming took place in Atlanta, with cinematography by Brandon Cox and music composed by Tyler Bates.

One Spoon of Chocolate is RZA’s fourth directorial effort, following The Man with the Iron Fists, Love Beats Rhymes, and Cut Throat City.
