Models 1 was founded in 1968 with just three models on its books. Now, in its 49th year, the Company has grown to become the largest and most successful agency in Europe and among the top and most respected agencies in the world. Models 1 is wholly owned by its management in the UK. Reputation

The company developed its reputation by discovering and helping to build the careers of

girls and boys who have achieved enormous success and international fame. Among the many models represented are the likes of Yasmin and Amber Le Bon, Olivia Palermo, Sophie Dahl, Erin O’Conner, George Barnett, Billy Huxley, Sam Way, Tom Warren, Johannes Huebl, Francisco Lachowski , Jarrod Scott, Linda Evangelista, Twiggy, Alesha Dixon, and Hollie-May Saker. In celebration of Black History Month, Models1 teamed up with photographer Reuben Yamak, stylist Bethan Dadson, hairstylist Britini Campbell & makeup artist Lara Nasamu to bring so Black ★ Star! to life.

Reuben Yamak is a 22-year-old photographer based in London. In this project, he set out to recreate the vivid colours and rich textures that defined his memories of growing up in Ghana. Through a striking interplay of deep skin tones and distinctive styling, his work celebrates both heritage and individuality.
