I have a confession to make…

I’m usually scared that one day I’ll lose this account and lose contact with all of you.

This isn’t just an irrational fear. It’s happened to some of my connections on Instagram and LinkedIn 😄😄😄

Here’s what you need to know: as much as I love social media, it’s still a rented house, which means that, for some reason, we could lose access at any time.

That’s why I always encourage my clients to build marketing assets beyond Instagram.

It’s a more holistic approach and gives you more control.

Social media, like Instagram, is a greattt tool for visibility, but to move the needle, building an email list should be your next step.

For the past 2 months, I’ve been investing in email marketing courses to deepen my approach to relationship-building beyond social media, along with creating UGC content for brands.

From endless networking to creating a seamless, automated system that keeps operations running smoothly, the workload for service providers like US is INSANE.

And if you think you can tackle it all on your own, let’s be honest — it’s the fastest way to BURNOUT 😄

Here’s my top advice for when it all feels like too much:

šŸ‘‰šŸ½Prioritize Self-Care
Taking time for yourself, watching your favourite show, and having a walk with your loved one ISN’T selfish—it’s essential (just like me in this pic - I just took a break after a long walk with my loved🤭)

Remember, you are your business’s greatest asset. When you care for yourself, you’re far more prepared to handle all the challenges that can come up anytime when you’re running an online business.

šŸ‘‰šŸ½Revisit Your WHY
When you’re buried in the daily grind, it’s very easy to lose sight of the bigger picture.

Take a moment to reconnect with your purpose—the reason you started this business. For me, it was the freedom and flexibility I craved in my 20s but didn’t have the courage to pursue until I left my home country.

šŸ‘‰šŸ½ Outsource 
You don’t have to do it all, and honestly, you shouldn’t. Outsourcing even small tasks—like admin work, customer service, or social media marketing—can free up your time for what you do best. ā€œWork smarter, not harderā€ is key if you want a sustainable business.

The sales process starts long before you even realise it.

Recently, I bought from A instead of B.

WHY???

Both have large followings, both create brilliant, inspiring content, and both clearly know how to make good money from their skills.

But the KEY difference?

How they treated me at the touchpoints.

When I scrolled on social media, A and B both popped up on my IG/TT feed.

I signed up for their email lists and downloaded their freebies. Then, I had some questions. So, I reached out to both via comments and DMs.

Only A responded within 24 hours.
And she didn’t just reply.
She went above and beyond:

→ She sent me a voice note.
→ She gave detailed, resourceful answers.
→ She even connected me with some contacts in the UK to verify a few things.

That level of customer service built my trust immediately. It wasn’t even a hard choice—I went with A.

šŸ‘‰ The lesson?

When your offer & marketing are good, customer service can be make or break.

The sales process starts right from the inbox.

Every touchpoint matters.

If you’re not investing in GREAT customer service, you’re leaving money on the table.

Your post’s lifespan is much longer than you think.

Last week, I had a 45-second post with a visual hook, text hook, trending sound, and my voiceover, but it didn’t get more than 300 views on Instagram.

I repurposed the same video, shorten the duration, changed the text hook, and changed the entire caption.

I posted it the next day on Instagram, and this time, it quickly gathered over +4K views and became one of the top-performing posts on the entire page.

So, the next time your post flops, don’t stop there.

You can either:
→Repurpose the same content on the same platform, changing text hooks and captions.
→Or repurpose the same content on different platforms, keeping everything the same to see how it performs.
