FAQ: Is it okay to ask questions before starting an online business?

Absolutely. I had questions too.

As a London nanny, I wanted to understand what I was considering before making a decision. I took time to learn about the business, the company, the training, the community, and what would be expected of me.

I’m still learning, one step at a time. I believe it’s important to ask questions, do your own research, and decide when you feel informed and comfortable.

There’s no need to rush. Ask. Learn. Understand. Then choose what feels right for you.

I’m grateful for my work, and I’m also making space to learn something new and build towards my future.

For me, a side hustle is an opportunity to:

📚 Learn new skills
⏰ Build around my existing work and commitments
🌱 Grow at my own pace
🌈 Create more possibilities for the future

It takes time, effort and consistency, and there are no guaranteed results. I’m learning step by step and sharing my journey as I go.

Nannies, working parents and healthcare workers spend so much of their lives caring for others. I know how rewarding—and demanding—that can be. ❤️

I’m a London nanny, and I’m also learning to build an online business alongside my work. I’m doing it because I want to create more options for my future and work towards a more secure retirement.

My mum is one of my biggest reasons. We may live far apart, but I call her every day. I’d love to have more choices and be in a position to support the people I love. 🌱

Having a Plan B doesn’t mean I’m not grateful for the work I do. It means I’m giving myself permission to learn, grow and explore what might be possible—one step at a time.

Building something new doesn’t mean you have to change your whole life overnight.

Some days, one small step is enough: learning something new, sharing an honest part of your journey, or making time to connect with someone.

I’m learning to build my online business alongside my work as a nanny, one day at a time. Progress may be slow, but every step helps me grow in confidence and keep moving toward the future I hope to create.

🌸 I’M NOT JUST POSTING—I’M BUILDING WITH PURPOSE 🌸

Seeing my page grow and receiving more views has made me truly grateful. But I’ve also realised something important:

Views are encouraging, but building genuine connections is what can turn a dream into something meaningful. ❤️

I’m a full-time nanny with long working days, but I’m also a woman preparing for her future. That is why I’m becoming more intentional about learning, improving and building my online business—one small step at a time.

I don’t have everything figured out yet. I’m returning to my training, developing my confidence and learning how to serve others better.

My goal is not simply to become popular online. I want to create something that may eventually give me:

🌸 More freedom and flexibility
🌸 Greater security for retirement
🌸 More time for the people I love
🌸 An opportunity to help other hardworking women believe in themselves

YOU DON’T NEED TO HAVE EVERYTHING FIGURED OUT TO BEGIN

Sometimes we delay our dreams because we think we need more time, more confidence or more experience.

But the truth is, confidence comes after we take the first step—not before it.

I’m still working as a nanny and caring for a little one every day, but I’m also using my spare time to learn and build my online business.

I may not know everything yet, and my journey may not always be perfect—but I keep showing up.

Every post I create teaches me something.
Every challenge makes me stronger.
And every small step brings me closer to the future I want.

Never think it’s too late to begin again. Your age, your job and your past do not decide how far you can go.

Start with what you have.
Learn as you go.
And believe that your small steps today can create a brighter tomorrow. ❤️
