📰 NEWS: The new Western entrance at Battersea Power Station Underground station is open!

🚇 With two escalators and a lift, the new entrance/entry point means improved accessibility along with better connectivity to the new Electric Boulevard high street and the wider neighbourhood.

🎙️ Riverside Reports' caught up with Transport for London (TfL) Commissioner, Andy Lord at the opening of the new station entrance.

🏉 SPORTS: It was history in the making as nearly 82,000 people watched the Red Roses' win the Women's Rugby World Cup by beating Canada 33-13 in the Final at the Allianz Stadium!

✨🏆 The celebrations carried on at Barnes Rugby Football Club as part of RugbyFest, a nationwide celebration of rugby as grassroots clubs right across England hosted a series of rugby events for everyone to take part and to get involved plus there were also appearances from the Red Roses' themselves.

🌹Among them included Rosie Galligan & Marlie Packer as they visited the RugbyFest at Barnes Rugby Football Club.

🎤 Our sports reporter David Diangienda spoke to both Rosie and Marlie during RugbyFest.
