Here is a reveal of the Strawberry Thief Cushion , designed by myself and , and inspired by our local hero William Morris , craftsman, artist and entrepreneur. The Strawberry Thief is our favourite of his designs and was perfect to translate into this patchwork cushion cover . We will be hosting a workshop on 2nd March and taking knitters through the process of making it, introducing colourwork and embroidery techniques.We have kept the class small so that everyone , whatever their skill level , will have individual attention . The price includes a kit with yarn, needles and pattern to make the project , which we will start on the day and a goody bag with yarn and pattern for an accessory and more! A light buffet lunch will be provided plus home made cake. The William Morris Gallery is an inspiring place and Chloe and I consider ourselves lucky to live just up the road, those who come to the workshop will get the opportunity to see the permanent exhibition of Morris’s work housed in what was his family home and also current exhibitions .

and I are excited to be hosting a knitting workshop held at on Sat 2nd March. It is inspired by our love of all things William Morris the internationally renowned designer and craftsman who is our local hero. We will be workshopping colourwork and embroidery techniques inspired by Morris’s designs and palette to begin the process of making a unique patchwork cushion cover. We will be offering technical support, joined by Pam Allen, renowned knitwear designer and founder of Quince and company and will ensure that everyone, even those less familiar with colourwork and embroidery can participate and contribute confidently. Hope to see you there.
