NHS Sets Out Three-Year Plan To Cut Waiting Lists And Bring More Care Closer To Home

NHS England has set out a major three-year framework that could reshape how care is delivered across England.

The focus is clear: shorter waiting times, stronger community services and more care delivered closer to home.

The plans include tackling the longest waits, expanding neighbourhood health services and reducing avoidable hospital admissions, while giving local organisations greater responsibility for shaping services around the needs of their communities.

But turning the ambition into reality will be a major challenge, particularly alongside financial and workforce pressures.
