Afghan migrant Gulwali Stanekzay, convicted of a brutal unprovoked attack on a woman walking home in Harlesden, has been found dead in his cell at HMP Wandsworth.

He was serving a sentence of just under three years after repeatedly punching Aisha Waris, chasing her, and trying to kick down a neighbour’s door as she fled.
