John Mitchell, guitarist with Original Asia and mainstay with Lonely Robot, has announced a one-off solo UK show for December, when he will play Dingwalls in Camden Lock in London on December 18.
Mitchell will be backed by a band featuring his Official Frost* bandmate, drummer Craig Blundell, Dim Gray's Oskar Holldorff and Jez Fielder, who fans will know from Mitchell's acoustic 'An Evening With' shows. The show will feature a handpicked setlist spanning Mitchell’s career. Expect fan favourites from Lonely Robot, It Bites, Frost* and Kino.
"I am beyond delighted to be performing live this Christmas with an absolutely stellar band and reliving some fantastic musical memories,” says Mitchell. “It’s been my privilege to be part of some incredible bands and play some fantastic songs during my career. This is an opportunity to celebrate that with good friends by my side. It’s going to be a wonderful evening.”

I saw him perform on Cruise To The Edge last year, and was brought to tears several times," enthuses Holdorff, who will be performing with Mitchell for the very first time. "His songs really connect with me. I cannot wait to play them, alongside Craig and Jez.”
