Shepheard-Walwyn Publishers Independent publisher đź’ˇ
Bringing ground-breaking non-fiction to curious readers for over 50 years. Our first book was published in 1972.

Shepheard-Walwyn is an independent publishing house in South West London. Our aim is to find books that have a lasting value, feeding heart and mind. We have a particularly strong list in the category 'Ethical Economics'. Economists have erected round their subject an intimidating barrier of jargon and maths, but our books are intended to give the layman a grasp of the basic principles. There is a

particular focus on the principles outlined by Henry George and a fairer society. We also publish a number of Biographies, publications about Shakespeare and Philosophy and poetry. If you enjoy beautiful books then we hope you will find something to interest you in our collections. To get our email newsletter subscribe here: https://confirmsubscription.com/h/r/C6745EEB3ECBF77C

Realonomics: How the Economy Really Works and How We Can Fix It, with Karim El-Ayoubi

This week, the UK government delivered the most leaked budget in history. Sadly, the leaks and the actual budget showed that the politicians don’t understand how economics really works. Renowned economist and author of the newly published Realonomics, How the Economy Really Works, and How we can Fix it, Karim Ayoubi, joins the Shepheard Walwyn Podcast. He explains how traditional economic theories, such as neoclassical economics, have little connection to reality.
