There are a few tips to grow your clinic..
1) Advertise your clinic as much as you can... pumplets, what's app groups..
2) Be an economical Dr , prescribe medications for only a couple of days and short follow up, this will give you a confidence about your diagnosis and management,as well as you will be more cost effective (400-500 for 2 visit seems reasonable than 1000 in One visit )
Short follow up will create a sense of rush on your Clinics, Pakistani society impress by rush...
3) Try to return the fee to every patient on first visit , next time he/she will bring two more patients..he/she will be your brand embassador......keep doing this for every new patient.... Remember time is money, the early you settle,the better it is...
4) Try to make sure your maximum availability in odd hours as well....once your clinic is established, patient will wait for you....
5) Make sure k patient ghr janay tk theek ho, for that, DOT therapy.... first dose clinic p khila k ghr bhjn, patient ghr janay tk theek hoga r ap ne koi quackery bh ne ki, especially body ages, acute febrile illness mn aesa ke jye....
6) Counsel the patient in layman terms, remember your PhD friends from other fields don't understand your medical language....
7) Make a daily habit of sadqa, apni earning ka Kuch % Apne patients p lgain , a few people will visit with very humble socioeconomic status.... Every good deed pays you back....
8) Always do positive counseling, if patient needs a surgery or having some chronic disorder, simple refer k yahn machine ne h,baray hospital chle jaye .....
9) Treat every patient as special as your own family members, for early two months, make a budget of 30k to spend for cold drinks/juice for every patient visiting your clinic.... Pakistan mn log peer ko Bakra d dte , Dr ko 200 fee ne dte,,,,pchchy daikhn logn ki,,we can't change the mentality of 250 million Pakistanis......so this is an investment,will pay back in one way or the other...
10) Allah se fazal maangein, naseeb maangein..... clinics r practice chl jae to simple MBBS ki bh chl jati h,,wrna 80% consultants ki bh ne chlti and ultimately they get frustrated.....
